3-4 marzo

Yesterday we started the day by going to school, most of us had to catch a bus at 8:50 but we were all in the reception room with the second director. We were invited to a typical English breakfast with orange

juice, bacon sandwiches and croissants. When we finished the seconddirector and English teacher Miss Mckenzie got a brief welcome. Then three students who participate in the school exchange showed us, we were all amazed at how big it was. Then each went with our exchange partners to the class that they had, in our case it was Spanish class, and later we ate. Then we all gathered to see the cathedral, which went up to the tower and saw the sights of the city. After each one went with their partner and some of us went to see the city and to drink milkshakes. The city of Lancaster is really nice. Finally everyone had dinner with the family. It was a long day but good.  (Puri y Paula)

Today has been a great day. We have stayed in Liverpool, which is a nice city, but in my opinion, I prefer Lancaster.  First, we have gone to the Beatles Story Museum, where we have learnt a lot of things about the Beatles and their lives, curiosities, anecdotes... Then, we were having a break while we walked next to the river, to the Liverpool Museum. Before that, we have gone to another part of the Beatles Story Museum, and we have seen a 4D short film about a storybased on the Beatles.
After that, we have gone to the Liverpool Museum where we have learnt some things about the city, its history and its culture. Finally, we have had free time and some people have gone to the shopping centre, and other people have gone for a walk to see the city.

Hoy ha sido un gran día. Hemos ido a Liverpool.

Today, March 6, 2013, the day has awaken foggy. We had expected a sad, grey day, but nothing was that far from reality. At 8.50 we arrived at school, where a young headmaster gived us a really interesting discourse about how interesting this exchange is for keeping good relationships between different european countries, no matter how far they were from each other. We conmemorated this first exchange between LRGS and Sagasta High School, and then left for some lessons with our english partners.
After that we went for some sightseeing at Lancaster with a really interesting ex-History teacher who teached us the city center and the Lancaster Castle. We did not visit the whole castle, because some time ago it was a prison so we could not visit that part of the building. We walked around outside the castle and then, a guide gave us a tour inside it. It was quite interesting, the building is very old and it has a lot of stories.
We visited the courts, the celds and the room where people were tortured. The guide told us few stories about the castle, for example, the Lancashire witches story. Then we saw where the criminals were executed, he told us that everybody went to see it. Finally we went to the church, it is an old and nice building.  When we came back to the LRGS we went for a walk round Lancaster with our English partners and then each couple did something with their own family or friends.  (Martina)

7 marzo
Today, thursday, has been a really good day. In the morning we have had lessons with our partners and then we have
cooked scones, a typical english sweet, some of us have been burned with the oven but the scones were delicious with jam, butter and cream.  After that we had more lessons but it has been funny because some english students have done a 'one direction presentation' (it was veryspecial) and a game.
In the evening, after have lunch, some of us have gone to the theatre to the play 'return to the forgotten planet' wich Krish, Luis' partner was the lead actor. It has been great!
One more day in England, we are enjoing this week:) greetings to Spain!

 ¡Saludos a España!    (Diana Vicente)

Nuestro Museo Natural
